Straight/Corner Baths
How they're made
Both straight and corner baths are constructed of two layers, made from a 5mm acrylic sheet which is then moulded to the desired shape, using a vacuum form process. The acrylic requires strength which is supplied by applying GRP (Fibre Glass Re-Enforcement Process) evenly over the underside. Finally a base board is added for installing the leg support at point of installation.
How to look after them
Baths should always be cleaned immediately after use, preferably whilst the water is running out and the bath is still warm. The film of insoluble soap products and grime which will otherwise harden on the side of the bath is easily removed at this stage. In hard water districts insoluble lime salts are deposited below the waterline and under leaking taps. If this deposit is allowed to build up, it becomes increasingly difficult to remove and looks unsightly. Prompt cleaning is again the answer. Hot soapy water with a cloth should be used and the bath wiped dry.
Freestanding Baths
How they're made
Freestanding baths are manufactured using a unique method of construction of acrylic re-enforced polyester bonded with a casting resin which results in the strength and durability of cast iron. A thermal vacuum between outer and inner skins improves heat retention.

Showerbath Left Hand or Right Hand
This is a very popular style of bath, as it offers an excellent showering option, especially if purchased with the shower bath pivot door. It allows you to combine showering and bathing and maximises the space available. It is available in left and right hand variations.

This style of bath allows you to fit the bath into the corner of your bathroom, maximising the space available. This bath allows easier showering and there is more cubic metres for bathing than the traditional straight bath. It is available in either left or right handed and is available with 2 tap-holes only.

Steel Bath
Steel baths are generally made from 2.2mm~3.5mm steel sheet which is covered with a hard-wearing gloss enamel surface. They are usually supplied with 2 tap-holes, and can be supplied with or without grips.

Why choose this bath: Steel baths are easy to clean, and will retain their gloss enamel finish for many years. Steel is a good conductor of heat and will take on the temperature to the bath water. The heat absorbed by the steel bath will conduct back to the bath water as it cools. The cooling properties of bath water is very similar for steel and acrylic baths as most of the cooling effect takes place from the water's surface, not through the bath itself.
